Recently, the All-China Women's Federation announced the list of 2022 National March 8 Red Flag Pacesetters, Red Flag Collectives, National Women's Civilization Posts, and National Women's Advanced Collectives for Meritorious Service.
1. National March 8 Red Flag Collective
Shanghai Hongkou District Social Security Service Center
The center was established in July 2014, with 70% female employees and an average age of 32.
Over the years, they adhered to the principles of "people-oriented, service-oriented, law-based administration, and being fair and honest", worked steadfastly, contributed behind the scenes, and sincerely served the people.
To expand the coverage of endowment insurance, they tackled the key issues, integrated the networks,, and solved the key problems in the old urban areas.
To reduce work-related injury accidents at construction sites, they set up a publicity team and went to the construction sites regardless of the cold and hot weather, and worked closely with the sites to prevent work-related injuries.
The center also pioneered to build a communication bridge between the injured workers and employers, urge enterprises to take responsibility and safeguard the rights and interests of workers according to regulations on workers’ industrial injury insurance.
The team was awarded the title of "2019-2020 March 8th Red Flag Collective of Shanghai" and the title of "2019 Unit with Remarkable Achievements in Precise Implementation of Social Insurance Poverty Alleviation Policies for the Poor".
2. National Women's Civilization Post
Pioneering Team of Health Emergency Response of Shanghai Hongkou District Center for Disease Control and Prevention
The team, established in accordance with the principle of "motility at both regular and peak hours, graded responsibility, and rapid response", is responsible for handling the major infectious disease epidemic and public health emergencies in its jurisdiction.
It has 40 members, including 32 women, accounting for 80%. Remaining true to their original aspiration, they fought in the front line of epidemic prevention and control to guarantee public health safety and protect the health of the people in Hongkou.
The team won such honors as the 2019-2020 March 8 Red Flag Collective of Shanghai Health System and the 2016-2020 May 4 Youth Medal of Hongkou District, Shanghai.
3. National Women's Advanced Collective for Meritorious Service
Service Team of No. 1 Branch, Citizen Service Center of Jiaxing Road Sub-district, Hongkou District, Shanghai
The branch is located at 881 Tianbao Road, serving about 25,000 people in six surrounding residential areas. As a diversified and comprehensive service complex, it is composed of a community canteen, a public living area, a day care center for the elderly and a party and mass service station.
The service team of the branch has a total of 9 members, all of whom are women. They undertake community affairs consultation, employment and entrepreneurship services, venue maintenance and management, and provide meticulous and thoughtful services for community residents.
The team adheres to the principle of "refined service to satisfy people" and serves residents in an intensive, modern and information-based way. The community canteen receives 1,600 dinners on a daily basis, among whom about 60% are the elderly. The elderly service window provides seven categories of services, including long-term care insurance, home-based elderly care, "old partner" plan, and elderly volunteer service. In 2022, it has provided 3,249 home-based elderly care services for 39 elderly people.
The team members bring comfort to the residents with care and warmth. The day care center, equipped with rooms for rehabilitation, rest and activity, is mainly for the elderly who live alone. "The elderly can have lunch here, and our members organize various activities for them. They are well cared during the day, participate in activities, and go home at night. It is an innovative community care service mode for the elderly”, said a member.
The head of the team said that they would be encouraged to improve their service quality and play an active role in their respective positions, enhance the cohesion of the team, and build a better citizen service center.
