Recently, according to the announcement of the Shanghai Tourism Resources Development Quality Evaluation Committee, the Shanghai Jewish Refugee Museum was rated as the 4A scenic spot. The Shanghai Jewish Refugee Museum, located in the North Bund, is the only memorial in the world with the Jewish Holocaust as the background and the theme of salvation. During World War II, a large number of Jews were massacred by the Nazis. The world has closed the door to Jews, but only Shanghai has opened the "door of life" to them. About 20,000 European Jews have come to Shanghai for refuge across the sea. About 14,000 of them live in Hongkou. In the days of a foreign country, Jewish refugees forged a deep friendship with their Chinese neighbors and worked together through the difficult times. At present, the Shanghai Jewish Refugee Museum has told the world this "Chinese story" related to the community of human destiny through more than 1,000 precious cultural relics and historical materials and more than 160 vivid stories.
